I love it when I manage to sneak a few hours break for myself and to have this time on a Saturday is very rare!
I met with a lovely friend of mine and we went off to Warkton Village Craft Market, it is about a 5min drive from where I live and the village is so picturesque. The market took place in the village hall with stall holders placed around the edges and also a tabled seating area where people were enjoying a lovely cup of tea in vintage teacups and saucers. After a wonder round and browsing each beautifully presented stall we sat and enjoyed a cup of tea and slice of cake (Lemon Drizzle – it was really good!) and contemplated what our purchases would be, and of course had a good old chin wag.
My purchases included –
A lovely fabric heart from – hearts n kisses – www.heartsnkisses.co.uk – Facebook link HERE
3 Tooth Fairy Pockets from – Mammakaz – Facebook link HERE
As I was visiting my Mum and Dad afterwards I decided to buy them a treat each:
For Mum> A Potted Plant from – Lavender Shed – Facebook link HERE
For Dad> A Slice of homemade Chocolate Cake by a very lovely lady who I never got the details from, so very sorry!
I too visited Warkton today and would agree with all of the above. Gorgeous little village hall in a beautiful setting. Very busy event.
I also bought tooth fairy pockets, pink one and a blue one and ordered a lovely bunny personalised coat hook – can't wait to receive!
Hope to go again next month too….
Well done lovely ladies who organise the fair 🙂 xx
